Fine to provide the most accurate details, Normal Medium program, while Coarse provided at least.

To learn more about these differences, the vertical ruler is set to F ine, while the horizontal ruler is set to Coarse. 100% view, the horizontal ruler is divided into eight (8 per inch mark), while the vertical ruler is divided into 32 per inch.

Note that the level of detail and segmentation and view settings. For example, the ruler is a more detailed view with 50% in 100% view. However, the breakdown of the higher degree of observation of the more detailed.

The following exercise shows us how the role of the subdivision set, and how by the observation set:

(1) Set the zoom rate of 10%, select the Tools → Ruler & Grid bring up the Ruler & Grid dialog box.

(2) in the part of the Ruler, the breakdown of the horizontal ruler is set to Fine, the breakdown of the vertical ruler is set to Coarse.

(3) Click on the O K button to activate the new settings.

(4) Z-oom from the Visio 2010 download marked reduction on the toolbar box is set to 50%. Note that the resulting scale and view settings caused by the difference of the level of detail.

To remember that the most important points related to subdivision. First of all, do not unit subdivision with Visio 2010 drawing window seen
Format to be confused with the mark on the ruler just to measure a unit subdivision. For example, the user can 1/4 inch line on any part of the drawing page, not just the scale 0:00 1/4 inch mark. Second, the breakdown of the number of when the user moves the graphics will be marked on the ruler. If the user remember these two points, using the ruler segments will be very convenient.
